A Few Northern Counties in Central Alabama Canceled from Flash Flood Watch

NWS Birmingham updates the Flash Flood Watch set to start on Wednesday morning at 7:00 am and set to expire on Thursday morning at 7:00 am. The watch is valid for Autauga, Barbour, Bibb, Bullock, Calhoun, Chambers, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pike, Randolph, Russell, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa, and Tuscaloosa counties.

NWS Birmingham cancels the Flash Flood Watch for Blount, Cherokee, and Etowah counties as excessive rainfall from Sally is no longer expected to pose a threat of flash flooding to those areas in far northeastern Central Alabama.
