Surge Coming into Pensacola, Water Levels Dropping in Mobile Bay

It’s all about your position to the center and wind field for the peak surge.

Water levels are dropping in Mobile Bay since their winds are out of the north as Hurricane Sally pushes water out of the Bay.

On the other side of the storm, in Pensacola, surge levels are rising rapidly. Downtown Pensacola is experiencing rapid flooding from storm surge.

Surge may reach 7 feet in Pensacola.
