Frost Advisory Issued for Portions of North Alabama for Early Saturday Morning

A FROST ADVISORY has been issued by NWS Huntsville starting at 1:00 am Saturday morning for Colbert, Jackson, Lauderdale, Limestone, and Madison counties in North Alabama. The advisory is currently set to expire at 8:00 am Saturday morning.

Low temperatures may drop as low as 36 degrees in some locations in the advisory area, which will result in the formation of frost. Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered. Take the necessary steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
