Warm and Slightly Humid with a Mix of Sun and Clouds on this Sunday Morning

| November 8, 2020 @ 10:01 am

For areas north of I-59, filtered sunshine is giving a beautiful warm, slightly humid fall morning. To the south, cloudiness is thick, but it is still warm and humid.

Temperatures are in the upper 60s to lower 70s areawide. Dewpoints are in the lower 60s.

High pressure is strengthening over the Mid-Atlantic states, to the northeast of Alabama and we are feeling the effects with easterly and southeasterly winds that are averaging 7-14 with gusts to 20 mph.

Clouds will be rather variable today, but sunshine should be increasing in areas that are cloudy.

The day will be mainly dry. There are a few showers right now over Southwest Alabama over Monroe and Clarke Counties, and others will appear over eastern Alabama this afternoon in the easterly flow, but they will be light and fleeting.

Highs today will generally be in the upper 70s. Lows tonight will be in the lower and middle 60s.
