Strong Storm With Some Rotation Moving Through Tuscaloosa County

…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHERN TUSCALOOSA COUNTY UNTIL
1000 PM CST…

At 935 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Binion Creek Landing, or 8 miles north of Northport, moving east at
40 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include…
Bankhead Lock And Dam, Lake Lurleen State Park, Samantha, Binion
Creek Landing, Bull City, Tierce Pattton Bridge, Lake Tuscaloosa,
Highway 69 Bridge and Lake Nicol.
