Tuscaloosa & Pickens Counties Added to Wind Advisory

NWS Birmingham extends the WIND ADVISORY in area to now include Pickens and Tuscaloosa counties and continues the advisory for Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Fayette, Jefferson, Lamar, Marion, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Walker, and Winston counties valid from now tonight until 3:00 am Sunday. South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 to 40 mph expected. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
