| February 17, 2021 @ 7:24 pm

Pretty decent snow showers are falling over the northwestern and portions of the north/central parts of North/Central Alabama where accumulations of 1/2-inch to 1-inch up in Town Creek. On radar, a mixture of sleet and snow to all snow is falling roughly along and west of a line from Huntsville, down to Cullman, and down to Fayette. East and south of that line is a cold rain at the moment.

Temperatures are ranging from the upper 20s to the lower 30s (all below freezing) along and west of the line I mentioned above, while mid-30s to the mid-50s are being reported south and east of the line. Haleyville was the cold spot at 27 degrees. Huntsville was down to 31. Muscle Shoals was down to 30 degrees. Troy was the warm spot in North/Central Alabama at 55 degrees. Birmingham was sitting at 37 degrees.
