Record Breaking Temperatures Across North and Central Alabama

Temperatures are in record territory across Alabama on this last day of February.

Birmingham has apparently broken its record high of 81F for today when the mercury hit 82F.

Tuscaloosa has reached 84F, breaking their record for the date of 83F.

Montgomery’s record is 83F also, and they have hit 83F according to the NWS Birmingham.

Anniston hit 81F, breaking the old record of 80F.

Across North Alabama, Muscle Shoals apparently has broken its record high with a reading of 77F. The old record was 76F.

Huntsville is not close, hitting 75F. The old record is 80F.
