Central Coosa County in east central Alabama…

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 858 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Clanton,
moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD…Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Goodwater, Rockford, Kellyton, Weogufka, Stewartville, Hanover,
Lyle, Mitchell Lake, Dollar, Bradford, Bentleyville, Unity,
Parkdale, Moriah, Hatchet, Crewsville, Higgins Ferry Park, Lay Lake
and Paint Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for central and
east central Alabama.
