The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern Jefferson County in central Alabama…

* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 506 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Brookside, or
near Gardendale, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Northern Birmingham, Trussville, Gardendale, Fultondale, Center
Point, Clay, Pinson, Tarrant, Argo, Kimberly, Morris, Brookside,
Chalkville, Grayson Valley, Palmerdale, Village Springs and New
Castle.
