EXPIRED – Flash Flood Warning Issued for Parts of Madison, Morgan, and Marshall Counties Until 1145 am

All of the flash flood warnings that are now in effect for North and Central Alabama:

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Southeastern Madison County in north central Alabama…
Southeastern Morgan County in north central Alabama…
Northwestern Marshall County in northeastern Alabama…

* Until 1145 AM CDT.

* At 849 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT…Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Southern Huntsville, Arab, Owens Cross Roads, Grant, Morgan City,
Eva, Union Grove, Eddy, Laceys Spring, Ryan Crossroads, Hulaco,
Valhermoso Springs, Florette and Columbus City.
