Severe T-Storm Warning for Parts of Tuscaloosa & Pickens Co. Until 6:15 pm

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
West central Tuscaloosa County in west central Alabama…
East central Pickens County in west central Alabama…

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 547 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Jena, or 8
miles south of Gordo, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Gordo, Coker, Lake Lurleen State Park, Binion Creek Landing, Tierce
Pattton Bridge, Kirk, Moores Bridge, Buhl, Echola, Highway 69
Bridge, Elrod and Lake Tuscaloosa.
