Just a Brief Update Before 8:00 am

| April 10, 2021 @ 7:48 am

Moderate to heavy rain with embedded thunder continues to fall across much of North/Central Alabama, but the good news is that the overall severe weather threat is over. We are actually starting to see the rain coming to an end over the northwestern parts of the area.

Rain and storms will continue to push off to the east and the rest of the area will begin to dry out when we get into the afternoon.

Unfortunately, we may have a few more scattered showers and thunderstorms develop later today and this evening as the cold front finally moves into and across the area. None of this activity is expected to be strong to severe. These showers and storms will exit the area during overnight and into the pre-dawn hours on Sunday.
