The Severe Thunderstorm Watch has Expired

NWS Birmingham has allowed the Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Autauga, Barbour, Bibb, Bullock, Calhoun, Chambers, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Perry, Pike, Randolph, Russell, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, and Tallapoosa counties to expire at 10 pm as planned.

While the overall severe weather threat has almost concluded for the evening, a strong storm with small hail and gusty winds may be possible over the next couple of hours.
