AT 547 PM CDT, A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO
WAS LOCATED OVER POOLES CROSSROADS, OR 8 MILES SOUTHWEST OF CLANTON,
MOVING EAST AT 60 MPH.

HAZARD…TORNADO.

SOURCE…RADAR INDICATED ROTATION.

IMPACT…FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. DAMAGE
TO ROOFS, WINDOWS, AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE DAMAGE IS
LIKELY.

AT 536 PM CDT, A CONFIRMED TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR MAPLESVILLE, OR
16 MILES NORTH OF VALLEY GRANDE, MOVING EAST AT 65 MPH.

HAZARD…DAMAGING TORNADO.

SOURCE…RADAR CONFIRMED TORNADO.

IMPACT…FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. DAMAGE

At 532 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Parnell, or 15
miles southeast of Brent, moving east at 65 mph.

HAZARD…Damaging tornado.

SOURCE…Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include…
Clanton, Thorsby, Maplesville, Chilton County Motor Sports Park, Gap
Of The Mountain, Pooles Crossroads, Lomax, Oakmulgee, Stanton,
Isabella, I 65 Rest Area and Cooper.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
