EXPIRED – Jefferson Co. Flash Flood Warning Extended to 9 pm with Considerable Flooding Occurring; Road Closures Across the Birmingham Metropolitan Area

Quick update… Flash Flood Warning extended to 9 pm. Here are the latest reports in from NWS Chat and Social Media:

* Cahaba river rd at Altadena road is washed out with both lanes under water.
* Rocky Ridge Fire has Acton road closed from Lakeland trail to 459 due to flooding over the roadway.
* Also have flood waters in a structure and in vehicles at the 2800 block of Old Rocky Ridge Rd.
* Flooding across a roadway in Fairfield with disabled vehicles.
* Water flowing across five lanes and is threatening a business along the 800 block of Allison Bonnet Memorial Dr.
