The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northern Tallapoosa County in east central Alabama…

* Until 530 PM CDT.

* At 445 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles west of Wadley to near Alexander City,
moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Alexander City, Dadeville, Camp Hill, Jacksons’ Gap, New Site,
Goldville, Hillabee Creek, Northern Lake Martin, Daviston, Eagle
Creek, Horseshoe Bend and Horseshoe Bend National Military Park.
