The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Small Stream Flood Advisory for…
Central Marengo County in southwestern Alabama…

* Until 1245 AM CDT.

* At 931 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Linden, Thomaston, Myrtlewood, Freddie Jones Field, Consul,
Calvary and Octagon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
