* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Elmore County in east central Alabama…
Western Macon County in southeastern Alabama…
Northeastern Montgomery County in south central Alabama…

* Until 415 PM CDT.

* At 329 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over eastern
Montgomery, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Eastern Montgomery, Tuskegee, Tallassee, Notasulga, Milstead, Pike
Road, Shorter, Franklin, Auburn University In Montgomery, Lake
Tuskegee, Davisville, Waugh, Lagoon Park, Liverpool, Hardaway,
Mount Meigs, Eastdale Mall, Tysonville, Victoryland and Mitylene.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Lightning is one of nature’s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
