Flood Warning Replaces Flash Flood Emergency for Parts of Franklin Co. Until 12 am

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a

* Flood Warning for…
Southeastern Franklin AL County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until midnight CDT.

* At 758 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the
warned area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Phil Campbell and Spruce Pine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
