Rockin’ for Restoration
Telluride will headline Rockin’ for Restoration Friday, Aug. 5 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Trussville Entertainment District. In 1977, Rick Carter was one of the founding members of the nationally recognized band. Performing more than 300 shows a year, Telluride became one of the most popular bands to come out of Alabama. Rockin’ for Restoration is a fundraiser benefiting the Will Bright Foundation. The music event will also feature alternative rock band Space of a Day. Admission is free, but a $10 donation is recommended. Donations can be made online or at the event. Checks can be made to the Will Bright Foundation. For more information, email lbright@willbrightfoundation.com. The Trussville Entertainment District’s outdoor stage is at 101 Beech St. between Ferus Artisan Ales and Mexicali Blues.

Legends in Concert
Summer performances are underway through Sunday, Sept. 4 at OWA in Foley. Fans will see performances by Isaiah Mercado as Bruno Mars, Nellie Norris as Katy Perry, Nae Cullors as Michael Jackson and more. The show features high-energy dancers, backup vocalists, a live band, costumes, elaborate theatrical sets and a full array of special effects. Performances will be at the OWA Theater Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 4 p.m.
