Bermuda Being Buffeted By Blustery Blankets of Rain & Wind

Hurricane Franklin is buffeting Bermuda this afternoon with wind and rain. Winds are currently averaging 38 mph with gusts to 50 mph out of the SSW.

Bermuda, UK is expected to receive a minor impact from Hurricane Franklin. Strong wind gusts of 54 MPH are possible.

The forecast maximum wind for this location has increased since the last forecast advisory by 1 MPH

The highest wind speeds from Hurricane Franklin are occurring now. Winds should decrease below tropical storm force by 10 p.m. CDT tonight.

There will be troipcal storm force gusts out of the west through the overnight hours.

No significant wind damage should occur from Hurricane Franklin in Bermuda.

They are approaching high tide now.
