Snow Continues Over East Alabama

| January 7, 2010 @ 7:29 pm | 35 Replies

Let’s don’t write this event off just yet… as many of you are indoors watching ABC 33/40 tonight, snow and sleet continues to fall over Central and East Alabama’s Calhoun, Cleburne, Talladega, Randolph, Chilton, Coosa, and Chambers counties. Based on Skywatcher reports, looks like we might indeed wind up with some 1 inch plus amounts over East-Central Alabama (south of I-20) before it all ends.

And, driving conditions continue to deteriorate… here is a new CEM message for Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega [AL] till 8:00 AM CST
