Alabama is in a full cold air advection regime this afternoon with strong northwesterly flow across the state.

Temperatures are still in the upper 30s over parts of the Tennessee Valley with 40s elsewhere across the state.

They won’t warm much more and lows across the area ook like they will be near freezing in most areas tonight.

Tomorrow should feature much more sunshine with readings in the 50s.

Next rain chance laet TUesday night and early Wednesday and mainly for Northeast Alabama.

Next significant weathermaker for Alabama will be a Gulf low next Sunday and Monday. It could bring rain to t he coast and perhaps a little light snow to South Central Alabama. It does not look like any accumulations will be a problem.
