The NWS/Huntsville cancelled the Winter Storm Warning around noon for Colbert, Lauderdale, Limestone and Madison Counties. Winter Weather Advisories continue for several counties in the Tennessee Valley. Radar indicates that there has been a decrease in the coverage of precipitation, except possibly over the NW corner of Alabama. There is no precipitation in progress in other parts of Alabama early this afternoon.

* 1-3 inches of snow at Oak Park in NE Huntsville
* 3 inch snow accumulation at Waterloo in the extreme NW tip of Alabama
* 2 inches of snow and sleet at Lexington and Green Hill, both in Lauderdale County
* 2 inch snow cover at Rogersville, Lauderdale County
* 1 inch snow in downtown Florence and also in Athens
* 4 inches in another part of Florence
* 3 inches of snow at Toney and Harvest
* 3.5 inches at Elkmont in Limestone County
