A Snow Day…With Snow!

It’s really beautiful out there right now with snow falling steadily. It has accumulated to a depth of two inches here at my location in Trussville and there is another 45 minutes or so of snow to go here. We can see the back edge now coming through Pickens, Greene and Sumter Counties, but the heaviest snow is now ending over Tuscaloosa County.

The roads here are wet, not slushy, although in other spots they are beginning to see some slush. As temperatures drop later this afternoon and tonight, the moisture will freeze, and there could be a good bit of icing on roads, especially bridges and overpasses. Keep that in mind if you must go out tonight.
