Tropics Update: Sara Now a Depression; Significant Flooding Occurring in Central America
Sara has now weakened to a tropical depression, with winds just under 35 mph and a pressure of 1003 mb. Regardless of this, there is devastating flooding occurring in areas of Central America as the system lingers overhead.
Here are the latest stats from the NHC:

Sara is expected to dissipate over the coming days, before becoming a remnant low over the Gulf of Mexico. However, the US Gulf Coast is expected to receive a large amount of rainfall as a result of this system early next week. There is currently a slight risk of excessive rainfall for many areas along the coast on Tuesday.
After Sara, we expect the tropics to become quiet; the NHC states that tropical cyclone formation over the next 7 days is not expected.
