Generally, this was the coldest morning so far this season across much of Alabama. It was below freezing (29) all the way down to Mobile Regional Airport. Here is an early look at some low temperatures from all sources, including the ABC 33/40 skywatchers.

A FROSTY MORNING ALSO
Widespread moderate to heavy frost this morning. Mike Wilhelm, 3340 Skywatcher for Vinemont, in North Cullman County, was on the way to work this morning. He said the frost was so heavy around Falkville that the bushes and small trees looked more like a freezing rain event.

DEFINITELY NOT A DAY TO HANG OUT THE WASH.
Look at this report from atop Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. Temperature 15 below zero. Visibility zero in snow, blowing and drifting snow and freezing fog. Wind NW 93 mph with gusts to 109 mph. They received 1.70 inches of water equivalent precipitation in the last 24 hours. That means they got tons of new snow. A great part of that was likely swept right off the mountain like it was a giant broom because of those 100 plus mph winds.

MT. CHEAHA
If you look at the ABC 33/40 skycam from on Mt. Cheaha this morning, the roofs are still white with snow as well as some of the grassy areas. They received some good snow flurries Sunday morning.
