Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 5 a.m.

The SPC did go ahead and issue that severe thunderstorm watch…it goes until 5 a.m. CDT for the following Central Alabama Counties:

Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Jefferson, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Walker and Winston.

We are getting reports of 50-60 mph from the Huntsville area…including 2 ft diameter trees down in Sherwood Park area of West Huntsville.
