April 8, 1998 was a big day for Central Alabama. The weather geeks at Weather Brains discuss the F5 tornado which killed 32 people in Jefferson County where Birmingham is located. This tornado was the strongest one since the Smithfield tornado of 1977. The guys discuss the tornado from the perspective of the media, both radio and television, as well as the National Weather Service.

Mailbag: And James Spann puts his hand into our mail bag to review feedback from listeners. Tough to do when you have an active week of weather.
