Classic Example of a Soaker

I have an idea that today’s widespread rain event was the biggest one since Hurricane Ivan wet down the state. Cannot be sure about that, but today was truly a red letter day for us.

Please remember that we get more than one report from some locations. I have tried to look back through all the reports until my eyes look like a checkerboard. So, I hope I have the latest report from each location. I will edit this later, if I see any mistakes and also to add some Skycam reports.

These reports are mainly from the 33/40 skywatchers, but I am also including reports form private individuals that are not part of a network and, of course, the official hourly reporting stations. Here we go:

How about that for a rain event?
