Big Storms Moving into Cullman County

Strong storms over eastern Winston and northwestern Walker Counties are going to be moving into Cullman County before 1:15 p.m.

Be ready for very heavy rain, frequent lightning and winds that could gust to 40 mph.

Winds gusted to 43 mph at the Jasper Airport at 12:37 according to Mark Rose at the NWS.

You notice that the NWS Huntsville has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for DeKalb County in Northeast Alabama for a potentially severe storm between Geraldine and Crossville that will move in the general direction of Collinsville.
