The National Hurricane Center has just issued their last advisory on  Tropical Storm Dorian.

…DORIAN DEGENERATES INTO A TROPICAL WAVE…
…THIS IS THE LAST ADVISORY…

———————————————-
LOCATION…18.9N 54.7W
ABOUT 550 MI…890 KM E OF THE NORTHERN LEEWARD ISLANDS
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS…40 MPH…65 KM/H
PRESENT MOVEMENT…W OR 280 DEGREES AT 24 MPH…39 KM/H

Dorian has has a very rough couple of days. He ran into a higher shear environment, started pulling in and ingesting drier air and even crossed some slightly cooler water temps. This spells disaster for developing tropical systems and has proven to bring about the demise of Dorian.

These remnants will continue to move to the west rapidly. No redevelopment is expected, but as always systems like these will need to be watched as the remnants could eventually move into a better environment early next week.
