Moderate sleet continues in Vinemont. The temp is now 31.5 at 12:15. Sleet continues to accumulate on cars, roofs, grass, and edges of the driveway.

Moderate snow is now falling once again here near Eva. A dusting of snow is now on the ground. Temperature is 30.9 degrees

At 12:25 sleet is heavy in Vinemont and accumulating more rapidly. Sleet is beginning to accumulate on the street and the temperature continues to fall ever so gradually. It’s now 31.3.

Continues to sleet in Haleyville. Temperature has held at 35 for a couple hours now.

Freezing rain now going on in Brilliant, trees are starting to have ice on branches, the cars are also covered in ice.

Light snow finally beginning to fall in Hazel Green, north of Huntsville…..temp still at 34 in Meridianville (our nearest reporting station 5 miles away; I definitely need to get my own….lol), but the dewpoint shot up from 14 at midnight to 28 just twenty minutes later; very neat how that happens so quickly.
