Cold Sparks Outages
As we noted would be possible with the extreme cold air affecting Alabama and the Southeast US, power companies are dealing with outages created by the cold and the increased demand. Here is a link to Alabama Power’s latest release on the outages for the areas they serve. Hope everyone can stay warm.
Not only did we set new record lows across the state, but Alabama hit a new peak in electrical usage.
