Quick Update
The cold front is approaching the Interstate 20 corridor.
The moisture remains very limited with this feature, but we are seeing rain across northern Alabama. Areas between Birmingham and Huntsville are currently seeing all rain. No reports of any flurries or snow. Over the next couple of hours is when we will have to watch temperature and precip trends carefully.
Colder air is moving in, especially in the upper-levels, and if the front can tap into a little more moisture and we begin to see some heavier precip, we will likely see the snow mixing in with the rain.
