I am loading these pictures from the Atlanta area… I am on “vacation”, but am in the room now and thought I would help put pictures on the blog since we have so many coming in.

Long time WeatherBrains listeners know what I always say… when it comes to thunderstorms, expect the unexpected. Today is a classic example of how forecasting afternoon convection on a summer afternoon is very difficult, if not impossible. Thanks to everyone for sending in these remarkable images!
