Hurricane watches or warnings may be required later tonight.

Tropical Storm Edouard is 90 miles SE of the mouth of the Mississippi River or 415 miles ESE of Galveston. Moving W-4.

Top winds are 50 mph. Last central pressure measured by the aircraft was 1002 mb.

The skinny black line of the forecast track carries it to Galveston Tuesday afternoon. General thinking is that it will be a strengthening category one hurricane. The cone of error takes the center as far south as Freeport or as far east as Intracoastal City in Louisiana.

No affect on Alabama.
