ALABAMA
Only precipitation left in Alabama at this hour was a line of showers and thunderstorms along the extreme south edge of the state. That line extended from Mobile east to Dothan and then into South Georgia. Heavy rain was still being reported at Dothan Airport at 9 am

REGIONAL NOTES
Very windy over NW Florida. A few trees uprooted in the Panama City area round 8 o’clock this morning. In the northern Gulf of Mexico, at the Panama City Buoy, winds were from the SW gusting over 30 mph with 8-foot waves.
