Here is a quick look at the updated thinking on Alabama’s weather today. Temperatures won’t go below freezing until tonight, most likely after 9 p.m. But, we have adjusted the timing on the change from rain to light snow.

The light snow will be in the form of snow showers, meaning distribution will not be very even; some will get nothing, but in other places the ground will become white. For most of North/Central Alabama, amounts will be under 1″. A full blog discussion and Weather Xtreme video will be posted shortly.
