WARMING TREND AHEAD: Temperatures remain very pleasant across Alabama this morning… most North Alabama communities are in the 50s with a clear sky. Expect a partly to mostly sunny sky today with a high in the mid 80s; the average high for Birmingham on May 30 is 85.
VERY PLEASANT MEMORIAL DAY: Temperatures remain below average across Alabama on this Memorial Day… the northern half of the state reports mostly mid to upper 70s, with low to mid 80s for the southern counties. Nothing on radar other than a few isolated showers over Mobile and Baldwin counties and the Florida Panhandle. Tonight will be mostly fair and pleasant with a low in the 57-64 degree range.

Look for a sunny sky across Alabama today with a high in the 78-83 degree range, which is below average for late May. Humidity levels will remain low… it doesn’t get any better this time of the year.
As of 2:45 pm, we have a few scattered showers and storms over the western portions of the area, while the rest of Central Alabama is dry and nice.
Memorial Day is still going to be very nice and mild. We get into a summer-type pattern as we hit midweek.
As of 11:13 am, there is a small batch of showers moving westward over portions of Winston and Walker counties, while the rest of Central Alabama is dry at this point.
While temperatures will remain lower than what we are used to for this time of the year, the heat returns by the end of the work week ahead.
