The SPC maintains has expanded the “moderate risk” (level 4/5) into West Alabama, Pickens, Lamar, Fayette, Marion, Winston, Walker, and Franklin counties.

Those clouds will affect the northern half of the state through tonight, along with some fog. Storms are likely here Tuesday night and Wednesday, with a pretty significant severe threat to our west. We may have strong storms, but no major severe weather in Alabama.
