The eastern half of Alabama will see some rain today on the outer edges of Hurricane Michael with the heaviest rain over southeastern parts of the state. The main impact will be blustery winds that will gust to 10-20 mph north of I-59 and 20-30 mph at times south of I-59. Strong tropical storm force winds will be over Southeast Alabama with hurricane force winds impacting only extreme southeastern parts of the state.
