Tornado Warning Walker, Winston and Cullman

BMX issues Tornado Warning for Walker, Winston [AL] till 6:30 PM CDT …* AT 611 PM CDT…THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO NEAR JASPER…MOVING NORTHEAST AT 70 MPH.

A mini-line of storms continues this evening from south of Arley to Oakman to near Gordo.

Rotation is indicated just northeast of Jasper. It will move northeast along AL-69 toward Smith Lake Dam.

Be alert for a possible tornado. Residents from south of Arley to south of Sipsey should be in safe shelter.

This storm will move into Cullman County and the NWS Huntsville has issued a tornado warning for Cullman County including Smith Lake, DOdge City, Good Hope, Hanceville and the city of Cullman.

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Jackson County in Northeast Alabama.

Hail is indicated with the Walker County storm and wit the storm south of Berry.
