Tonight’s Guest WeatherBrain is Christina Crowe, a forecaster at the National Weather Service in Huntsville, Alabama. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri with undergraduate work on convective snowstorms. She came to the University of Alabama in Huntsville to look at hurricane spawned tornado outbreaks. She was a Hollings’ Scholar in 2006 at the NWS in St. Louis. She worked at the NWS Springfield, MO, as an intern and at MDL and Huntsville as a SCEP Intern. She has been in Huntsville for 4 years, including a year at the NWS Office. She is one of the organizers of the Wednesday afternoon Weather and Forecasting Panel Discussion at the upcoming National Weather Association Annual Meeting in Birmingham.
