| May 6, 2016 @ 6:16 am

CHILLY MAY MORNING: Next time we see numbers like these will most likely come in October. Check out these temperatures at daybreak…

Fort Payne 37
Valley Head 37
Black Creek (just northeast of Gadsden) 38
Russellville 39
Sycamore 40
Cullman 41
Cottondale 41
Haleyville 42
Center Point 43
Auburn 45
Anniston 45
Birmingham 46
Tuscaloosa 47

SPECTACULAR SPRING WEATHER: Expect sunny days and clear nights through the weekend with a warming trend. We rise into the mid 70s today, low 80s tomorrow, and mid 80 Sunday. Makes for an easy forecast.

NEXT WEEK: Warm, dry weather continues Monday… we will bring in the chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday, but the overall severe weather threat looks low for now with weakening dynamic support. Then, we will need to hang on to some risk of showers or storms on a daily basis through the rest of the week with a moist airmass holding in place. Highs will be generally in the 80s; see the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.
