A Significant Weather Advisory has been issued for Southern Lamar County until 5:00 PM CDT. A strong thunderstorm was located near Calcedonia and Vernon, and was moving east at 30 MPH. Half-inch size hail and winds in excess of 40 MPH will be possible with this storm. If you are in the path of this storm, seek safe shelter until it has passed. Locations in the path are listed below.

AT 410 PM CDT…DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A STRONG THUNDERSTORM NEAR
CALEDONIA…OR 11 MILES SOUTHWEST OF VERNON…MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

HALF INCH HAIL AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH
THIS STORM.
