Alabama 811 | Know What's Below.

Sunny and Seasonal Saturday

| February 4, 2017 @ 1:45 pm

After the very cold start to the day, we are seeing more seasonal temperatures as many of us are into the 50s this afternoon.

The sky remains full of sunshine and overall it is hard to find a complaint with this weather.

The clear sky will only last today as clouds return tonight. Not as cold tonight either as most of us should see upper 30s and lower 40s. As our flow switches out of the south and southwest, we could certainly see some showers develop after midnight as we head into our Sunday. Below is the HRRR model radar output for first thing tomorrow morning. It shows scattered showers across Central Alabama to start the day, and many of the models have been showing this, so that is what why we are expecting some rain for tomorrow.

The rest of tomorrow we are forecasting mainly cloudy conditions with scattered showers a possibility across Alabama at anytime. Though we are not expecting anything too heavy tomorrow, to be safe, grab the rain gear heading out the door in the morning. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 50s.
