| February 18, 2017 @ 4:01 pm

Most of the rain is done across Alabama, but we are still going to see a few light showers through the rest of the afternoon, mainly east of the Interstate 65 corridor.

There are some breaks in the clouds, and that is allowing for some peeks of sunshine, however, most of us continue to deal with more clouds than sunshine this afternoon.

Temperatures this afternoon are mainly in the upper 50s and some lowers 60 for Central Alabama.

FOGGY NIGHT: The clouds hang around through the overnight hours, and with the very moist air in place we are going to be dealing with areas of fog later tonight, and it could be quite dense during the early morning hours tomorrow. It will be a cool night with most of in the 40s by first thing tomorrow morning.

SUN RETURNS SUNDAY: Tomorrow starts off with clouds and fog, but drier air will build in tomorrow, and we are going to see improving weather through the day. Tomorrow afternoon, looks simply gorgeous, with more sun than clouds, and highs heading towards the mid 70s.

PRESIDENTS’ DAY: Monday will be dry and very nice as a lot of folks will be off work and out of school. Mainly sunny conditions are expected and highs are likely to make it into the mid to upper 70s for most of Central Alabama. Monday night, clouds begin to increase as the next storm system moves towards the region.
