Dense Fog Through Early Sunday Morning Across Much of Central Alabama

| February 19, 2017 @ 2:02 am

Clearing skies and plentiful low level moisture left over Central Alabama is resulting in patchy dense fog that will reduce visibilities to less than 1/4 mile in spots through mid-morning.

A dense fog advisory is in effect for the areas shaded in gray on the graphic. The value on the map show visibilities at 2 a.m. Conditions will gradually worsen through the overnight hours.

Be careful if you will be driving early this morning. Visibilities may be suddenly reduced causing hazardous travel conditions.

Things should begin to improve a couple of hours after sunrise.

The rest of your Sunday should be beautiful with increasing sunshine and highs in the 70s.
